He noted that the state is focused on attracting quality industrial investments that support export expansion and import reduction, particularly in industries that add value to the national economy.
On the sidelines of the inauguration, the Prime Minister listened to a presentation by Engineer Yasser Ozturk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the factory. He added that the factory is built on an area of 20,000 square meters, with investments ranging between $6 million and $8 million, and an annual production capacity of up to 9,000 tons.
The Chairman of the Board stated that the factory is unique in being the first of its kind in the Middle East, Africa, and the Arab world in this field. It also relies on local sources for more than 90% of its production inputs, primarily high-quality Egyptian silica. Öztürk noted that the factory aims to export over 70% of its production to foreign markets, contributing to the trade balance and generating foreign currency, in addition to creating approximately 140 direct and 300 indirect jobs.
